| Event description | During these sessions, teachers will explore the many aspects of the Computing curriculum and be given advice and information to support their role as Computing subject leaders. We will have hands-on training with existing and innovative computing resources. We will explore new developments in Computing pedagogy and national policy updates and changes. We will provide opportunities for sharing effective practice and most importantly foster networking opportunities with other subject leaders across Brent and the wider Computing community. | |||||||||
| Training objectives | - Review key developments and policy changes in national Computing Curriculum and Online Safety. - Provide updates on new thinking, approaches and requirements in Computing. - Provide practical training and hands-on workshops on new, existing and innovative Computing resources. - Discuss issues and signpost resources to support Primary Computing Leaders in fulfilling their role effectively. - Provide strategic and safeguarding updates, including cyber security and online safety within the wider curriculum. |
